What it does

Changes the Command Prompt appearance.

Syntax

prompt [texto]

Options and parameters

• $P

  Displays the current drive and path.

• $G

  Displays the greater-than sign (>).

  prompt $P$G
• $T

  Displays the current time.

• $D

  Displays the current date.

• $_

  Inserts a carriage return and linefeed.

• $$

  Displays the dollar sign ($).
